Tony's decision to go with the accords isn't really accepting responsibility, it seems to be about forcing others to share responsibility for his own personal guilt. The only disaster that is absolutely the fault of any Avenger is Sokovia, which, face it, is ALL Tony's fault. The beauty of the Civil War storyline is that BOTH sides are right, and BOTH sides are wrong.
